Will Chase - Biography

Will Chase was born in Frankfort, Kentucky. He studied percussion and conducting at The Oberlin Conservatory, graduating in 1992. His acting career began in Chicago, appearing in several original productions, culminating in three Jeff Nominations for Best Actor. He has starred on Broadway in The Mystery of Edwin Drood for which he received a 2013 Tony Award Nomination, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Rent, Miss Saigon, The Full Monty, Aida, Lennon, High Fidelity, The Story of My Life, and Billy Elliot. He has guest-starred on many television shows, most notably as Michael Swift on NBC's SMASH and as Pat Mahoney on FX's Rescue Me. He is father to Daisy and Gracie Chase.
