Temur "Themo" Nadiradze was born on February 21, 1992 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is the oldest of three children a younger brother and a younger sister. His father Avtandil Nadiradze was a civil engineer and his mother Nino Noniashvili was a working nurse. In 1999 due to the countries poor economic living circumstances his family made the move to Belgium, changing their name to Melikidze. In Belgium, Themo got introduced to martial arts by his father who was a martial artist in Georgia. At the age of 9 Themo began practicing Taekwondo at the Chin Do Jang Bruges, under the guidance of Master Chin Yun Sup. Themo gained his black belt within 5 years and started competing nationally and internationally. After winning numerous tournaments (Flanders Cup, BeNeLux Open, Belgian Open International Championship, etc..) he earned a spot on the national team to continue his training. Simultaneously Themo performed with the National Taekwondo Demonstration Team of Belgium. Themo and his younger brother Giorgi Melikidze used their shared passion for martial arts as well as their remarkable physical abilities and skills to Choreograph fight scenes and began performing nationally and gained a reputation for their unique style of performance..
Fascinated with physical movements and athletics, Themo enrolled at the VHSI Athletic institute in Bruges, majoring in Sport and Physical studies. In a short period he excelled in various athletic fields such as gymnastics, track and field, parkour, calisthenics and dance. Competing with the top tier students, and performing in various shows with the school dance and theater club. Themo graduated in 2011 as the highest scoring athlete in gymnastics. During his senior year, Themo became determined to study acting in the United States. While finishing high school in Belgium, Themo sent an audition tape to the New York Film Academy and within two months he received a scholarship to move to New York City.
During Themo's first year of acting conservatory in NYC, he was selected to perform at the prestigious Players Club Theater, bringing Theresa Rebeck's "The Actress" directed by Dan Winnerman to life together with Rosie Johnson. In 2013 Themo's exceptional performance at his graduation industrial screening, got the attention of Carlo D'Amore, the CEO of the The LiveInTheater, who offered him a contract to begin his career with the award winning Off-Broadway theater. Themo started performing for The LiveInTheater for a full season, appearing in the Drama Desk Nominated show "They Ryan Case 1873" as well as "The Lombardi Case 1975" and "The Murder of Venus Xtravaganza".
While still performing at The LiveInTheater, Themo appeared in countless other projects including the short films "Faceless 2014", "City Of Revenants" and the feature film "Beautiful Something" directed by Joseph Graham. In 2015, Themo made his move to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. Within the first four months of his arrival, Themo was scouted by a talent coordinator and was signed by Adam Park at the Park Noack Agency. Being represented and having more exposure in the industry Themo got the opportunity to audition for an upcoming movie directed by Peter Berg. After back to back auditions and callbacks Themo was officially cast for his breakthrough part as "Tamerlan Tsarnaev" the main bomber and the mastermind behind the Boston Marathon Bombings. He will be starring next to Mark Wahlberg, J.K. Simmons, John Goodman, Kevin Bacon and Michelle Monaghan in the movie "Patriot's Day" opening in December 2016.
