Mary Lou began her show business career at age 6 as a country music entertainer, performing throughout Southern California, Texas and Tennessee, winning local, state, regional, national and world championship titles.
At age 8, Mary Lou chose to pursue a career in television and film. Her hard work and talent was rewarded in 2004 with a recurring role on Nickelodeon's teen comedy, Allie Singer (2004). She reprised her role in the series' second and third (final) seasons.
She combined her work as an actress throughout her teen years with the typical teenage pursuits of public school, show choir, travel and friends.
In 2010, Mary Lou took a 4-year hiatus from her pursuit of her acting career, to attend Princeton University. She is a member of the Class of 2014 and is studying English, Art History and Psychology.
At Princeton, Mary Lou is also member of the 120-year-old Triangle Club, the oldest touring collegiate original musical comedy organization in the nation.
