Dominic Lucero was born August 28th, 1967 in the state of California. From the time he was small, Dominic wanted to be an actor and his mother knew that it was destined to happen. He sang and danced to the radio as a kid, and showed a natural talent for it. Dominic participated in Drama Club and plays throughout Elementary, Middle School, and High School. In high school, Dominic was voted most talented, and was nominated Homecoming Prince. Also in high school, Dominic's accomplishments include ASB, Key Club, Drama Club President, Class Representative, and Choir. For his first job he was in a Sprite commercial playing a young man at the movies. From there he went on to dance, act, sing, and choreograph for movies, television, and live touring. His big break came when Michael Jackson chose him as one of his principal dancers for his BAD tour. After touring with MJ, Dominic went on to tour with Paula Abdul as well. His most notable role on the big screen is from the movie Newsies - The News Boys (1992) when he played the character Bumlets. As for television, his most notable role is from the first season of the Nickelodeon show Roundhouse (1992). Not only did he win Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast in a Youth Series or Variety Show with the cast of Roundhouse, but he also won an Emmy with Paula Abdul for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography. Dominic has three wonderful siblings, John, DeEtte, and Monique.
